Dear Friends, holiday greetings!

Tomorrow is Beethoven’s birthday!

And, in just a few days it will be my birthday as well. This year I decided to celebrate with a birthday fundraiser, in support of my not-for-profit "32 Bright Clouds” peace through music initiative.

Would you be able to join the celebration?! 🎈🎉

If you find value in supporting the work of creative artists from countries of conflict, if you find meaning in our mission to express a global aspiration for peace, if you’d like to be a part of an innovative and unique body of new compositions, I hope you would please consider contributing to the “32 Bright Clouds” project. Your contributions will be used exclusively towards the commissioning costs of 32 inspiring new compositions!

This groundbreaking project commissions 32 composers from countries of conflict and unrest around the world, with all of the new works unified by a “Peace” motif from Beethoven’s final section of his Missa Solemnis, “Dona Nobis Pacem”. The 32 new works are also inspired by Beethoven’s 32 piano Sonatas. (for more about the project and its mission, please visit the about page)

The incredible composers who have already written new pieces for the project have dedicated their creations to important causes in their own countries - nations such as Ghana, Syria, Bhutan, the Philippines, Iran, Indonesia, Venezuela, Turkey and Jordan.

"32 Bright Clouds" is already off to a really great start. However, to keep the project going and to realize its goals of promoting a positive message of peace through music, we very much need your help!!! And, your help will be the BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER! 🎁 🙏

The “Donation Page” link below will take you to a page with multiple options, with all donations tax-deductible through the sponsoring organization, the New York Foundation for the Arts (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization).

By clicking the “Donate Now” button you can contribute any amount you’d like, $10, $20 - and I really mean it when I say that no amount is too small! Maybe you’d like to consider $32 ($1 for each composer), $46 (to celebrate my 46th birthday on Dec.19th) or even $248 (celebrating Beethoven’s 248th birthday on Dec.16th!)

Other options on the same link allow you to receive a wide array of rewards to thank you for your support: Recordings, private lessons and coachings, house concerts and more. Scroll down the page to find out and select different offerings.

Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions about donating.

Whether or not you make a donation, I want to thank you, just for reading this letter! And, if you’re able to help, thank you so much for the best birthday present I could hope for!

Warmest greetings for a happy Holiday season and a wonderful New Year,
